Escape from Tarkov is finally coming to Steam, and this could be the perfect opportunity for you to dive into the fantastic evacuation shooter.
The Steam launch also marks the official release of version 1.0, which includes all the work the developers have done over the past eight years. This countdown will help you keep track of your upcoming launch.
Escape from Tarkov Steam release countdown
As the developers previously announced, update 1.0 will be released. November 15. It will coincide with the launch of Steam, so the date is exactly the same. Update 1.0 will also mark Escape from TarkovSteam login.
At the time of writing, we do not have an official launch time. However, I firmly believed that the developers would stick to the usual update schedule that they have followed in the past.

Times may always change before launch. We will await any confirmation regarding timing. Unless there is official notification, I believe the 1.0 update and Steam version will be available at the time listed above.
What to expect from the Escape from Tarkov 1.0 update?
Escape from Tarkov will be very different from the game released back in 2017. While the core gameplay remains the same, many changes have been made. All work done in the closed beta will become part of the new version. If you're using Steam, expect the gameplay to be much more refined than its previous state.
While you can use a sandbox approach to your survival, the story will have four different endings. New locations will also appear on the map, and DLC is promised in the future. If you enjoyed ARK Raiders and I want to choose something else on the side, Escape from Tarkov could be a worthwhile purchase for your Steam library.
