Join the hunt in Dota 2
World Dota 2 is about to collide with the kingdom Monster Hunter in one of the biggest crossovers in the game. That's right Valve Corporation And CAPCOM has just made an announcement, inviting players to embark on an epic hunt filled with monsters, crafting, and new hero transformations. This collaboration introduces themed hero packs, new pets, and an in-game hunting system inspired by the iconic Monster Hunter gameplay. And for those who have ever imagined the Dragon Knight turning into Rathalos, Capcom has made that dream a reality.
Coming with the event are six Monster Hunter-themed item packs, each modeled after classic armor from the series and available in three craftable alternate forms. Players can also obtain a Palico courier with customizable equipment and Puga's trusty pet. The base version of each Hero Pack is free for all players and can be crafted from materials collected through Hero Hunts. The Atlas of Heroes serves as a log of your progress, revealing knowledge and messages written by Axe's faithful scribe, Goodkind.
For players looking for a deeper experience, the Expedition Pack expands the adventure. It includes useful monsters such as Rathalos for Dragon Knight and Bullfango for Beastmaster. There's also a Monster Hunter-themed music pack, seasonal sprays, and additional crafting materials. Expedition Pack owners also get access to exclusive Poogie, Palico and Hero pack variants, complete with special visual effects.
The crossover event will last for the next three months, giving players plenty of time to hunt down enemies. All while creating powerful gear and unlocking new stories. Enter the arena, collect materials and get ready for a unique hunt.
