Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 With only a few days left, Activision is only now revealing more information about the franchise's newest addition.
Unlocks after completing the main campaign. Final is a 32-player PvE co-op mode based on a large map called Avalon that will be familiar to anyone who has played Black Ops 6 campaign. This Mediterranean inspired region will be home to something new for CoDas Activision highlighted today in the new blog post.
In “Endgame”, players select a loadout and then land on a map that is divided into dangerous zones with difficulties ranging from level one to four, with enemy difficulty increasing as the zones change, similarly Modern Warfare III Cost center zombie mode.
Before starting the game, players can equip one major and one minor ability, ranging from active camouflage for invisibility to a grappling hook for reaching higher levels. But the catch is that if you die along with your operator in Endgame, your progress will be lost. You need to kill enemies and complete missions, level up and get out before you die, then return to your level (battle rating) to reach higher difficulty areas and find everything inside as the difficulty increases.
“Gain strength in a match by completing objectives, gathering information, and defeating enemies to increase your operator's combat rating and unlock skills that increase your combat effectiveness,” Activision explained, highlighting skill tracks that will allow you to further enhance and focus your abilities. But again, if that operator dies, you'll start from scratch.
“Time is of the essence in Finals matches,” Activision said. “Before the match timer runs out, operators must find a friendly VTOL aircraft. Reach the landing zone, clear the landing area, and leave. Successfully exiting allows you to keep your current loadout and battle rating. Be sure to exit every time so you can infiltrate more challenging locations and claim greater rewards that await you.”
This makes Finale sound like a hybrid of extraction mode (e.g. CoD DMZ or ARK Raidersfor example) and a roguelike where each time you deploy you fight different mobs and complete different tasks to level up and try to achieve a common goal.

It's hard to say what Endgame's long-term potential is without playing it first, but it sounds like something new and interesting for players to sink their teeth into when BO7 starts this Friday, November 14th.
