The gaming giant says that starting November 20, select retailers will have discounts on popular games, dropping some to $59.99 and others to $54.99. Select Amiibo will also be discounted by up to $15.

Other Nintendo eShop games (likely third-party ones) will also go on sale starting November 20th.
If you're hoping to get a discount on a Switch or Switch 2 system, it looks like there won't be any discounts as usual, but instead some consoles will come with an included game. For now, Nintendo is still hyping two separate $699 console bundles. One comes with World of Mario Kart and another with Pokemon Legends: ZA.
If you still want to purchase the Switch 1 console, there will be Change sport the kit retails for $419. However, it should be noted that none of the Switch or Switch 2 bundles are new for the holidays and are already on store shelves.
Ultimately, if you're waiting for the Switch 2 to go on sale, I wouldn't hold your breath. During its lifetime, the Switch 1 never received any discounts other than offering a built-in game, and with tariff increases earlier this year in fact this year it has become even more expensive. If you really want to find one for less than retail, you should check out a Nintendo repair store or local marketplaces.
Finally, the company announced that starting November 30, select stores will also offer discounts of up to $25 on Samsung MicroSD Express cards to make additional storage for your console more affordable. However, they usually start at $84.
If you want to test out the new console before purchasing, the company will also be holding demos at Costco and EB Games. There will also be select the Nintendo Features pop-up window Mississauga, Edmonton and Montreal.
