November means the holidays are on the horizon, and with them comes more free time to do what we love most: watch movies. Amazon Prime Video continues its impressive rotation, so I've rounded up a few winners for you to pair with your popcorn this week.
First we do some stand-up comedy with one of my favorite comics, then we go back to the '80s for breakfast with the coolest group of high school kids on the planet. After that, it's time for sci-fi with an alien investigation film, followed by a swords-and-sandals epic and a new Amazon Original film starring Mr. Funky Bunch himself, Mark Wahlberg.
These are the five movies you should watch on Prime Video this week.

Tom Segura: Completely Normal (2014)
Every time I sit down to watch stand-up comedian Tom Segura, I am never disappointed. I love the deadpan sarcasm with which he tells his stories, as well as his low-key approach to everything.
In its 2014 special issue Tom Segura: Completely normalThe cool comedian gets vulnerable and talks about his hobbies, his digestive problems, and gives us his light-hearted hotel reviews. He also gives his thoughts on a certain type of reality TV and how to be a Good Samaritan. You will laugh at his unique style of entertainment which is sure to put you in a calm state and give you a fresh perspective. Segura has plenty more specials on the platform, so be sure to check them out if you like his style.

The Breakfast Club (1985)
Club Breakfast was pretty much the anthem of every Gen X growing up, and for good reason. It is a timeless classic that continues to have social relevance and features some of the most quotable dialogue not only of the eighties, but in the history of cinema.
The famous John Hughes film takes us back to school The story takes place in the one place every kid hates: the library on Saturdays. Yawn. The comedy-drama follows five high school students—all from different walks of life—who find themselves in detention all day, under the spotlight of a stern, power-hungry principal. Once they overcome their rigid social boundaries, they will gradually reveal their true selves to each other and change each other's perspectives and perceptions forever. By finding themselves, they also find their boundaries and are able to unite as one, despite their differences.
Trust me: you want to spend time in custody with star athlete Andrew (Emilio Estevez, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers), school bully John Bender (Judd Nelson, from South of Hope Street), socialite princess Claire Standish (Molly Ringwald, Riverdale), cool smartass Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall, Reacher) and outcast loner Allison Reynolds (Ally Sheedy, from Lonely drunk woman). Club Breakfast it is without a doubt one of the best films of all time.
