Enter the tiny world in Buddy Bug
Wildfire Game has teamed up with Flawless Gaming to present the first public demo of the game. Buddy Bugnow available on Steam. This 2D roguelike invites players into the microscopic world of insects, hidden in a corner of a bustling city, where everyday objects become colossal battlefields of elemental battles and smart gadgets.
The demo, currently available on PC, supports both single-player and local co-op play for two players. Online co-op mode will also appear in future updates. Designed as a standalone game, this demo features a hand-crafted scene that combines two different biomes from the full game. It introduces players to the core systems and creative combat options that define the world of Buddy Bug.
Players can experiment with four different weapons and over ten gadgets. Each one offers unique elemental interactions including water, oil, electricity and fire. The demo also includes rebalanced enemy encounters and progression adjustments that make it accessible yet challenging. The new Specialization Class system allows players to tailor their fighting styles through multiple upgrade paths, encouraging a wide range of creative builds and strategies.
Set against an imaginative backdrop of a hidden insect metropolis, Buddy Bug transforms discarded human objects into vital survival tools, such as lighters turned into flamethrowers, bottle caps used as shields, and thumbtacks acting as death traps.
