If you thought you mastered the neckerchief, think again, because you haven't seen it yet Kate Middleton take it again.
If you're into trends, you know that this little piece of fabric has become one of the biggest obsessions of the season, whether or not you wear it. like a necklace or wrapped around our waist. However, the Princess of Wales managed to show us the most elegant, dramatic and special way to wear it: with all the pomp and ceremony we love so much.
This happened during Memorial Day service at the Cenotaph War Memorial in London, an annual event at which we see her in black formal wear, as required by protocol. And while it's tradition for us to celebrate the coat dresses she usually wears to the event and the hats she often pairs with them, this time was different. The scarf she chose stole the show.
Peeking out from behind a collar and draped over a coat, this lace scarf is the accessory we never knew we needed. It would be the perfect ally to add a touch of flair to our winter looks, giving them the theatrical touch we love so much.

The style makes us think of the men's suit of 18th-century Versailles, with thin white lace scarves draped over coats and vests. Middleton, for her part, wears a lace scarf almost like a tie, but manages to create an interesting play of textures with the wool coat, adding class and even more understatement to the ensemble.
