Quentin Tarantino Is Rereleasing ‘Kill Bill’ as a Single Film: Trailer │ Exclaim!

Quentin Tarantinofilms of the early 2000s Kill Bill: Volume 1 And Volume 2 It was always planned to be one film, but it was split into two parts due to the film's four-hour running time. Now, Kill Bill will finally be released as a standalone film.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair hits theaters December 5th from Lionsgate. It includes seven additional minutes of never-before-released animation footage.

UPDATE (Nov. 7, 10:22 p.m. ET): Trailer Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair arrived. According to Diversityit will be shown in “all major North American markets.” Watch the full trailer below.

“I wrote and directed it as one film – and I'm so excited to give fans the opportunity to see it as one film,” Tarantino said in a statement. “The best way to see Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair in the cinema in magnificent 70mm or 35mm. Blood and guts on the big screen in all its glory!”

Currently, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair confirmed for US release, and it's unclear how or if it will include Canada, but presumably we'll have a chance to preview it soon enough.

Meanwhile, Tarantino said he plans to make a 10th film as his final feature film. He wrote a script called Film criticbut he has since abandoned it.
