If you remember, back in August, Millie and her husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed his daughter through adoption.
All things considered, Millie, who plays Eleven in Very strange things is relatively private, and any details about her family, especially who is her child's godfather, are a huge deal. This is definitely someone who has been on the show for several seasons.
Is the godfather of one of the three boys who originally saved Eleven in season one: Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), or Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo)?
It is possible that the godfather is her character Eleven's real father in the series, Jim Hopper (David Harbor), or maybe the show's mom, Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder)?
It would make sense for one of the older teenagers who helps look after the children to be a godparent, like Stephen Harrington (Joe Keery), Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) or Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer).
Or could it be one of the characters Eleven spent the least screen time with in Season 1, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp)?
I'm guessing this is Eleven's best friend since season two, Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink).
When ET asked Millie who she would let babysit the cast kids, she replied, “Sadie is very, very motherly, but Noah is her godfather.”
Enola James the star added about how all the actors interact with her daughter: “They all turn into the gooey, squishy versions of themselves. [and] their childish voice sounds when they are near her. So it's amazing.”
Noah being the godfather makes sense given what he said about Millie in Thursday's premiere. I'm talking to People Of the relationships he has formed with a core group of children over the past decade, he said: “I mean, of course, Millie is my best friend for life. But they are all really just family to me, and it shows on screen. I mean, thank God we're so close.”
So, it looks like “baby Bobby Brown-Bongiovi” has Will Byers as her godfather and an army of very capable, witty aunties and uncles looking out for her. And I'm looking forward to seeing how these witty aunts and uncles finally bring it to a close. Stranger Things saga because years have passed!
Stranger Things Season five will premiere four episodes on November 26, with three more episodes on Christmas Day and the finale on New Year's Eve on Netflix in America.
