A fresh leak has occurred Samsung Galaxy S26 That's something to talk about, and it looks like the standard model of the 2026 flagship series will be thinner than its predecessor and will also feature wireless charging upgrades.
The leak originates from a normally reliable @UniverseIceand shows an outline image of the Galaxy S26. The phone is expected to be a successor Samsung Galaxy S25 sometime in the first few months of next year.
According to this unverified information, the Galaxy S26 will be 6.9mm thick from front to back. This surpasses the thickness of the 7.2mm case. Samsung Galaxy S25although we don’t yet know the other dimensions of the future phone.
Lately, Samsung has been making its phones thinner and thinner. Earlier this year we saw the launch Samsung Galaxy S25 Edgewhich is only 5.8mm thick (though not as thin as the 5.6mm thick iPhone Air).
Wireless charging
The most notable feature of this image is the Qi2 charging coil, suggesting that the next Samsung smartphones will support full Qi2 wireless charging – just like Google Pixel 10 phones (where this feature is called Pixelsnap).
Previous Samsung phones have been Qi2-ready, meaning you'll need a case to take full advantage of Qi2—specifically, wireless chargers that magnetically attach to the back of the phone, much like the MagSafe technology on best iPhones.
We can also see three rear cameras on the back of the Galaxy S26, although it is unclear what the specifications of these cameras might be. Apparently, a vertical tablet design similar to the one on Samsung Galaxy Z Foldable 7.
While the Galaxy S25 phones debuted in January 2025, all indications are that next year's equivalents won't arrive until February or March. One report from South Korea suggests that a presentation event may be held. on Wednesday, February 25.
