Cool guy, singer and songwriter Jack Johnson has announced a massive North American tour that will take him across the US – and as far as Toronto – over the next year.
The SURFILMUSIC tour begins next June in Guilford, New Hampshire. Johnson will be joined by Latin instrumental groups. Gutierrez brothers for most dates and they'll head north to play one Canadian show in Toronto. recently renamed the RBC Amphitheater. (fka Budweiser Stage) June 30. Lake Street Drive and J. Love will also join Johnson on select dates.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Johnson and Hermanos Gutierrez have released a new single together, “Hold on to the Light,” which you can listen to. Here. The track represents the first taste of what's to come SURFILMUSIC soundtrack, a new documentary chronicling Johnson's career. The film was written by Johnson and Hermanos Gutierrez and will be released next year. More details have not yet been announced.
