All-in-one coolers are all the rage these days because they bring liquid cooling technology to the masses without having to deal with liquid. Take the NZXT Kraken 240mm for example. It packs a ton of features into an easy-to-use size and a bit of flair with the 1.5-inch LCD screen on the head unit. Will Smith checked it out on PCWorld's latest video on YouTube.
Will says he likes the affordable price ($140 retail) and size of this Kraken variant, even though the small screen isn't the brightest on the market. It also probably won't suit you if you're looking for an ultra-clean look to the inside of your PC, since it has a proprietary control cable hanging from the head. Aesthetically this isn't a deal breaker, but some won't appreciate it. With a smaller heatsink and less intense fans, it's probably not enough to cool even the most ridiculously overclocked CPUs – if you can afford Threadripper, look elsewhere.
However, it is great for those looking for a liquid cooling starter setup, or for those who want something easy to install and use. Once you've installed the fans and powered them, as well as the built-in pump, you're ready to go with the impressive default 'silent' profile in the NZXT Cam software. It's probably not for those who want maximum compatibility or customization, but it's a good choice for casual users. Same design Comes with RGB option in black or white.
