The Nebraska volleyball team begins its three-game road trip Saturday afternoon, traveling to Minneapolis to face Minnesota. Golden gophers. The Huskers have a 23-0 record with 14 straight wins and 43 straight-set wins.
It's one of Nebraska's best starts to a season since 2023, when it won 27 straight before losing its opener. The Huskers also moved one step closer to surpassing their school records for consecutive wins (17) and straight-set wins (53), both set in 2007.

Minnesota is 17-7 on the year and 7-6 in the Big Ten, riding a two-game losing streak. The Golden Gophers lost to USC for the first time last Saturday in a five-set affair and then suffered a 3-1 loss to Wisconsin on Wednesday.
Nebraska has a 39-12 record against Minnesota, winning its last three games against the Golden Gophers. The last time the Huskers lost to Minnesota was back in November 2022, when the Golden Gophers ended Nebraska's regular season with a win at Devaney Center.
