President Donald Trump has endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy to be Ohio's next governor, praising Ramaswamy as “something SPECIAL” and saying he is a “very good man who truly loves” the United States.
IN mail On Truth Social, Trump noted that if elected governor, Ramaswami would “fight tirelessly” to cut taxes and regulations, as well as “boost the economy” and secure the southern border, among other things.
“Vivek Ramaswamy is going to be a GREAT Governor of Ohio and I have my full and complete support – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” Trump said.

Ramaswamy, who was the Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential election. filed in February, he will file his paperwork to run for governor of Ohio in the state's upcoming 2026 gubernatorial election.
After filing papers for his gubernatorial campaign, Ramaswamy announced that he was running to become the state's next governor. stated that he would “lead Ohio to excellence.”
“We need a leader at home who will renew our beliefs in Ohio, and that is why today I am honored to announce that I am running to be the next governor of a great state that sits at the heart of the greatest nation known to man,” Ramaswamy said at the time. “The state in which I was born and raised. Ramaswami, who earned Previous support for President Trump was also approved Ohio Republican Party.
