AND WE APOLOGIZE?
Mark Carney goes from incredible to despicable with Donald Trump. He may have excellent financial ability, but his political instincts and lack of smart negotiating skills are letting Canada down.

Trump does whatever he wants on the trade front. His actions are damaging Canada's economy with reckless abandon, with no regard for consequences that will take Canada years to fully recover from – if ever. And we apologize?
Not only did news reports say that Carney apologized for the Ontario ad about “Ronald Reagan”, but Trump himself told Air Force One reporters twice that Carney had apologized. However, this suck-up has not led to a resumption of trade negotiations.
Seriously, what is wrong with this man?
That's all you need to do to best deal with Trump. Has he ever heard the phrase “fight fire with fire”? His strategy is completely ineffective and demonstrates a weakness that Trump repeatedly attacks.
Whether it's a failed budget or some other trigger, we need another election.

APOLOGY FOR THE TRUTH?
Re: Mark Carney says he apologized to Donald Trump for Ontario anti-tariff ad, online November 2
Now we're apologizing for the truth?
Our obsequious Prime Minister is on his knees with his elbows raised.
Ronald Reagan did say that he was a “free trader” in his 1987 comment, and Donald Trump deserves a history lesson rather than a fawning apology.
But quintessentially Canadian, Carney. We have become heartless nothings.

BUDGET 2025: CANADA DESTROYED
Given 11 years of deficit spending, the cover of the 2025 budget should have read:
Canada Broke (instead of Canada Strong) and the stern of the ship shown on the cover.
might as well have been called Brookfield instead of ARVIK.
They hand over another $150 million to the liberal propaganda machine known to taxpayers as the CBC and voila, more smoke and mirrors from these masters of deception known as the Liberal Party of Cannabis.

GOOD JOB, SANDY.
Re: Trump is not the biggest threat, letter to the editor, online, October 31
Well done letter writer Sandy Johnston, you took those words right out of my mouth (regarding the failures of Liberal governments). I couldn't phrase it better if I tried.
