Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra delayed for a second time

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed for a second time and is now expected to launch “after early 2026.”

In a statement about social mediaSkydance Games stated that it is “fully aware [its] Vision” for the game, its release window had to be moved.

“Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an ambitious project, and we are committed to ensuring that it meets the level of quality that our team, players and fans have come to expect,” the statement said.

“We are grateful for the enthusiasm and support from the community and players around the world. The team is working hard to create something truly special and we look forward to sharing even more with you as development progresses.”

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was originally announced back in 2021when former Uncharted creative director Amy Hennig joined forces with Skydance to work on a then-untitled Marvel project.

Game teased for 2022 before being revealed during the Epic State of Unreal event at GDC 2024.

Skydance announced that it has partnered with Plaion to publish the gamewhich was originally planned to be released sometime in 2025.

Then the developer moved the release date to early 2026 “add more sparkle” and make sure the name “fits [its] vision.”
