There was technically an NFL football game on Thursday night featuring Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.
The Broncos won the game 10-7, but it was about as ugly as it gets. The two teams combined for two touchdowns, three turnovers, 13 threes and outs, 22 penalties for 161 yards and 14 punts. The offense was lacking as Denver gained just 220 yards and Vegas had just 188 yards.

NFL fans took notice and were puzzled by the performance of both teams in the matchup as it was far from the close-fought AFC West battle that everyone expected.
However, the Broncos pulled off a big win in the division.
Bo Nix was 16 of 28 with 150 yards passing, a touchdown pass and two interceptions. running back J.C. Dobbins had 18 carries for 77 yards, averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Troy Franklin had five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown.
For the Raiders, quarterback Geno Smith was 16-for-26 passing for 143 yards and an interception. He was fired six times.

Running back Ashton Ginty had 60 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. Tyler Lockettwho was playing his first game in the Silver and Black, had five catches for 44 yards.
If there was a real bright spot in the game, it was the Raiders' secondary. Q Blue Kelly had two interceptions. These were the first interceptions of his career.
A huge blocked Broncos punt led to a successful field goal by Will Lutz.
The defense dominated the first half. There were eight punts, two touchdowns and one turnover between the two teams.
AJ Cole was the first Raiders player to have two punts inside the 2-yard line since 2011. One of Cole's punts bounced off the goal line and then went sideways before going out of bounds.
Broncos punter Jeremy Crenshaw made a pair of questionable hits, but Denver's defense managed to get a few stops.
The Raiders broke the ice in the first quarter on an errant punt by Crenshaw. Smith led Las Vegas on an eight-play, 41-yard drive that ended with a Ginty touchdown.
