NFL great Jason Kelce threw shade at the Toronto Blue Jays in a World Series rant that went viral and drew the ire of critics.
In the latest episode of the show New Heights podcastwhich he co-hosts with brother Travis Kelce, the Super Bowl winners talked about the 5-4 Los Angeles Dodgers. Game 7 win over Blue Jays.
Travis was quick to praise the series as “seven amazing baseball games”; however, Jason had other thoughts about the series, which concluded less than a week ago at the Rogers Center in Toronto.
“Are you telling me I should worry about the Canadian baseball team?” – said the 38-year-old man.
The World Series marked Toronto's first return to the Fall Classic since winning back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993.

The series finale was a ratings winner, establishing MLB World Viewing Record. Game 7 was watched by 51 million viewers in the United States, Canada and Japan, including 11.6 million viewers in Canada on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.
It was the most-watched English-language broadcast in Canada since the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Travis, a Kansas City Chiefs player who is engaged to Taylor Swift, praised both teams for an entertaining and hard-fought series.
“It was an amazing seven games of baseball, man. It was back and forth. Both teams had their highlights,” he said. “(The Dodgers) spend more money than everyone else. That's baseball.”
But Jason, who retired after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, had none of what his brother was selling, saying, “This is why baseball sucks.
“Is it nice that the team that spent the most money and everyone knew was going to win the World Series won the World Series?” – he said. “Everyone knew this was going to happen before the season started. We just had a bunch of pointless things happen leading up to it, and then this happened. So yeah, no baseball is going to get my stamp.”
The reaction was predictably swift, with Sportsnet's Hazel May quick to express her displeasure with Jason's stance.
“Wow, what a disappointing comment,” a Toronto reporter said in response to the report New Heights The video clip was published on social networks.
Others were not so diplomatic.
“This sucks,” one commenter said, while another said it was “the first time Jason Kelce has disappointed me.”
“Jason with a HUGE L. He tried to form an argument somewhere in this rambling mess but it fell apart. Nice try,” said another commenter.

World Series was 'exciting' to watch
Jason's comments will not sit well with Toronto fans, who were furious throughout the team's match. magical post season run in October. As the only Canadian team in Major League Baseball, its fan base extends far beyond the Greater Toronto Area and has perhaps never been more evident than in recent weeks.

“We created new baseball fans everywhere. It was exciting and hard not to watch.”
Obviously, just don't think of Jason as a converted Jace fan.
