San Antonio Spurs Star Victor Wembanyama made a highlight dunk during the team's two-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.
Spurs attacked with eight minutes remaining in the second quarter when Wembanyama received a pass for a corner. He faked and passed the Lakers defender. The 7-foot-3 center took one dribble and fired a shot over Bronny James.

James made a mistake trying to save the shot. Vembanyama spread his hands LeBron James– the son was in the air and made an easy dunk.
It was one of the highlights of the night, as Los Angeles cruised to a 118-116 win against the upstart Western Conference. Wembanyama had 19 points, eight rebounds and three assists, but the night belonged to the Lakers. Vembanyama fouled out late in the game.

Spurs had a chance to tie the game or take the lead late on. Marcus Smart committed a game violation after Kelly Olynyk's layup with 1.2 seconds left in the game. Julian Champagnie called a foul when Jake LaRavia tried to challenge the pass.
Champagne missed free throw attempt at the front end. Then no one was able to make the last attempt to throw the ball into the net with a deliberate miss on the second attempt.
Luka Doncic became the top scorer with 35 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. DeAndre Ayton added 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lakers trailed 106-97 with over 4 minutes to play. Los Angeles won its fifth game in a row.
