BASED KICK has announced that the Steam page for HYPNOSYNC, a new hypnotic rhythm game, is now live. A demo with ten playable songs will arrive towards the end of 2025 and will offer players their first taste of immersive gameplay. The full version is scheduled to be released in early 2026 for PC via Steam. In addition, mobile versions for iOS and Android will appear in the second quarter of the year.
HYPNOSYNC is a free-to-play rhythm game that combines catchy rhythms with a wacky storyline. Players take on the role of the headstrong HYPNOSYNC arcade manager, working under the guidance of the quirky and demanding Nezzie. Your mission is simple but strange: hypnotize new customers and turn them into loyal employees whose only job is to spend more money at the slot machines.
Each hypnosis session progresses through rhythmic gameplay where colored notes represent the character's willpower. Hitting the notes at just the right moment releases their resistance, bringing you one step closer to total control. Each track introduces a new character, each with their own personality and visual style, making each session feel unique.
Smooth animations and a sweet, dreamlike art style immerse players in a surreal world where rhythm and hypnosis blend seamlessly. Some characters will challenge your judgment and reflexes, demonstrating stronger willpower that will require focus and precision to overcome. BASED KICK also confirmed that all future song updates for HYPNOSYNC will be free, ensuring a constant stream of new characters and music to master when the game officially launches in 2026.
