Feel the adrenaline in RUSH: Apex Edition

Binary Mill has released RUSH: Apex Edition, a completely updated version of the famous VR winsuit, for PlayStation VR2. Redesigned from the ground up, this edition captures the thrill of high-speed air racing with greater realism and intensity. The game promises to offer players a breathtaking feeling of flight and competition.

The game plunges players into daring wingsuit runs across towering cliffs and winding canyons. Here accuracy and speed determine victory. Built using the power of PSVR2, the game features enhanced visuals with improved lighting, weather and atmospheric effects that enhance every dive and turn. It also expands the multiplayer mode to support up to twelve racers, adding new levels of excitement and challenge.

The sense of presence is enhanced by spatial audio, proximity-based voice chat, adaptive triggers and headset haptics. Everything works together to make every flight feel vibrant and physical. Players will be able to explore over ninety unique tracks in dynamic environments. The game also runs at 90fps on PlayStation 5 and 120fps on PlayStation 5 Pro.

Jason Spencer, community manager for The Binary Mill, explained that this release is a complete rework of the beloved next-gen game. “We wanted to bring back one of our most beloved VR experiences and give it the full next-gen treatment it deserves.” – he said. “With RUSH: Apex Edition, we've refined every element on PSVR2—from the graphics to the flight feel—to make it the definitive version of RUSH.”
