Two New Jersey men have reportedly been arrested in connection with an investigation related to a foiled terrorist attack in Michigan over Halloween weekend.
One of them, a 19-year-old man from Montclair, was arrested Tuesday morning at Newark Liberty International Airport, Sources familiar with the investigation told NBC New York.
Another man, also from Montclair, was arrested Wednesday morning.
The arrests of the two men, identified by several sources as Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzal and Milo Sederat, came just days after federal authorities charged with terrorism against two 20-year-old Michigan men on charges of planning terrorist attacks on LGBTQ+ bars in the Detroit area.
Sederat, believed to have graduated from Montclair High School, was believed to be in communication with men from MichiganSources told ABC News.
One of the two men arrested this week was taken into custody by members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force in the food court of Newark's Terminal B.
He reportedly arrived at the airport early Tuesday morning and was scheduled to fly out Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., two unnamed law enforcement officials told NBC News. Officials said he allegedly expressed a desire to fly to Turkey and then possibly Syria to train with ISIS.

He allegedly planned to leave the US on November 17, but is believed to have changed his travel plans after a home and warehouse in Detroit were searched last week, sources said.
This raid was part of an investigation into the foiled “Violent attack over Halloween weekend” FBI Director Kash Patel said so on Oct. 31, local reports from federal investigators showed. entrance to at least two houses in Dearborn, about seven miles west of downtown Detroit.
Both men are expected to appear in federal court in Newark later Wednesday. Officials did not provide details about the charges against them.
