Servers shooter Arc Raiders There was a bit of shuffling on Sunday as many would-be arc raiders lined up to enter. The developers at Embark have now decided to offer those affected by the outage some free in-game compensation as compensation for said server swoon.
The fluctuation occurred on November 2, when the game hovered around the 300-330 thousand concurrent players mark. This left a brief but unmistakable gap in Steam Database Chart. Imagine one of these heart machines that has a quick signal before resuming regular contractions.

Buying 500 tokens will cost you around £4 or $5 in real money, so it's a pretty valuable gift in exchange for enduring a technical glitch that appears to have had a relatively minimal impact on the grand scheme of servers fainting.
Embark could have easily just shrugged and moved on without handing out any goodies. From a cynical and PR-savvy perspective, this is an easy win, requiring some monetary sacrifice, but likely returning a lot of value in the most important battle any shooter faces – the one that touches the hearts and minds of players. It's also just a fun activity.
