Cristiano Ronaldo calls Trump ‘one of the guys that can help change the world’

European football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo shares his thoughts on the president Donald Trump in the upcoming segment of the interview with Piers Morgan, which was teased in a clip released on Tuesday.

Morgan Ronaldo asked about a signed T-shirt a player gave to Trump in June that read “play for peace.”

“He is one of those who can help change the world,” Ronaldo. told Morgan Message to the President.

In June, Ronaldo signed the most lucrative contract extension in sports history with Saudi Pro League team Al-Nasr, becoming the first billionaire footballer.

“My goal was to reach this number,” Ronaldo told Morgan about the financial feat in part of the interview that was published. “I'm not obsessed with money, but when you reach a certain level, money doesn't matter anymore. But it’s always good to have more.”

soccer star also spoke about his potential future retirement plans, saying that he wants to spend more time with his family and that he will decide to retire “soon.”

“I will be ready. Of course it will be hard and difficult. I will probably cry, yes. It will be very difficult, but Pierce, I have been preparing for my future since I was 25 or 26 years old. Nothing compares to the adrenaline that we need to score a goal. But everything has a beginning and an end, so I will be ready,” he said.

“I will have more time for me and my family to raise our children. I want to follow [son] Cristiano Jr., because he is at that age when you can do stupid things, normal things, I did the same thing.

“I want to be more of a family person, more present.”

Ronaldo, 40, and Georgina Rodriguez, his girlfriend since 2017, announced their engagement in August. In an Instagram post, Rodriguez showed off her new massive oval-shaped engagement ring with a touching message in Spanish.

The football star praised his fiancée in an interview with Morgan.

“Gio is unique. She takes care of me, and that's very important. She takes care of the family, the house, and that takes a lot of work. If you want to be the other way around, I won't put up with that; men can't handle that, honestly,” he said.

“She is a person who understands me and cares about me and my family. This is what I'm looking for.”
