The Dodgers, with the largest payroll in baseball, have used their financial muscle to select some of the most sought after and most expensive free agents on the market. This helped turn them into a powerhouse.
One beneficiary of this free spending is Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts, who has not shied away from discussing the possibility of another title next year.

“I talked to (former NBA coach) Pat Riley and he gave me the go-ahead to use his phrase. What's better than two? Three. Three-pit. Three-pit. Let's go!” Riley registered this term as a trademark Three-Peats in 1987 after his Los Angeles Lakers won three straight NBA titles.
One of the most touching moments of the rally occurred when Miguel Rojas, the show's unlikely hero, addressed the crowd.
