Jake Paul against. Thank you, Davis. no more – Most Valuable Promotions just announced that the November 15th boxing match has been cancelled… just days after Gervonta was accused of assaulting a woman at a strip club.
MVP, which last week began investigating allegations made against Davis in a lawsuit filed in Florida, released a statement Monday saying it was “working closely with all parties to handle this situation responsibly.”
MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian said Paul plans to enter the ring for Netflix before the end of 2025, but it won't be against Davis.
As the event approached, Paul's team was reportedly scrambling to find a replacement for Davis… and Francis Nganno said TMZ Sport he was called during the search, but showed no interest.

The fight was originally announced in August…and became a hot topic due to Paul's massive size advantage over Davis: Paul is 6'1″ and just under 200 pounds, while Davis is 5'5″ and 135 inches.
As we previously reported, a woman named Courtney Rossel accused Davis of assaulting her and making several threats during their five-month relationship.
She accused Davis of walking up to her at Tootsie's in Miami last Monday … and grabbing, pushing, pulling and choking her during her shift as a VIP cocktail waitress.
A police report was filed regarding the alleged incident.
Two days ago, MVP said it had launched its own investigation into Davis' allegations… saying, “We are currently gathering information and reviewing details to ensure any decision we make is thoroughly vetted.”
