The Simpsons takeover in Fortnite has already begun, and over the next month or so we'll be battling it out in Springfield and using a number of new Simpsons-themed items to help survive against our enemies. But no joint takeover would be complete without cosmetics, and Fortnite is adding a ton of Simpsons skins and accessories both in the item shop and through the new Simpsons Battle Pass.
The Simpsons Pass is relatively short: about 70 levels of rewards versus the usual 200 in the linear part of the pass – as in all previous mini-seasons. The Simpsons Pass includes five skins—Homer, Marge, Ned Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peeley—each with significant style options, as well as accompanying sets of pickaxes, gliders, emotes, and more. The new Pili is a bonus skin that will be available starting November 11th. only Fortnite guy who looks like The Simpsons – looks like he'll have an alternate Professor Frink style too.
As befits a season based on a sitcom, the accessories in the aisle are full of mundane items, like a vacuum cleaner pick and a glider for the shopping cart that baby Maggie rides on. And while the pass includes the classic looks of Homer, Marge, and Ned, they also have some really distinctive alternate styles, like Homer in his Devil costume, Marge as a witch, and Ned Flanders in his stupid, sexy ski suit.
Marge is the skin on Page 1, but very unusually, purchasing this Battle Pass will not instantly unlock her. Instead, the instant unlock for this pass is Banana Dog Peel, the first of the new Assistants. Sidekicks, debuting this season, are little companions that will follow you around in Battle Royale and celebrate your victories. Most of these guys are sold in the item shop, but Peels is a cheap first hit that will get you hooked. Or at least that's the idea. Meanwhile, Marge can be unlocked once you get everything else on page 1.
Even though the Simpsons pass is short, it costs the usual 1,000 V-Bucks and is included in the Fortnite Crew month.
