- Semrush One combines classic SEO tracking with next-gen AI-powered visibility tools.
- The platform shows how brands appear on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
- The $165/month cost of entry can be a major barrier for smaller brands.
As artificial intelligence becomes the dominant source of online information, it becomes increasingly difficult for marketers to maintain visibility.
Semrush, a long-established company in the online analytics space, has introduced a new platform called Semrush One, designed to solve this problem.
Artificial Intelligence Tools combines traditional SEO AI-powered search analytics and visibility to help companies ensure their content remains accessible as search models move beyond standard systems such as Google.
A New Approach to Digital Transparency
According to Semrashthe platform brings together acquaintances SEO data with new levels of AI visibility analysis.
This gives users insight into how their brands are appearing in AI discovery systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
“Semrush has always helped marketers see where they are, and now we're helping them determine what's next,” said Andrew Worden, chief marketing officer at Semrush. “By combining SEO and artificial intelligence into one layer of intelligence, Semrush One gives marketers the ability to influence every discovery moment and turn insight into performance. This is an advantage that modern marketing has been missing.”
The company says this integration allows it to more quickly adapt to changes in rankings and search behavior.
Its data sets reportedly include more than 808 million domains and trillions of backlinks, which it says constitutes one of the most extensive data collections available.
This scale may appeal to larger brands, but smaller ones e-commerce businesses may wonder whether such extensive data sets provide practical benefits.
Semrush One is available in three versions including Starter, Pro+ and Advanced, with each level providing greater functionality for larger teams.
Additionally, a broader enterprise-grade product called AI Optimization promises customizable guidance and model-level control for large organizations.
While Semrush presents these tiers as available for all business sizes, the starting price of $165 per month raises doubts about their affordability for startups or small digital stores.
Semrush says its own tests showed a rapid jump in AI visibility after implementing the system, nearly tripling “share of AI voice” in one month.
The company interprets this as evidence that large language models respond faster than traditional SEO cycles.
“With the increasing adoption of LLM programs and the rapidly evolving world of search, online brand visibility has become a topic in boardroom meetings,” said Bill Wagner, CEO of Semrush. “We are excited to leverage nearly two decades of search leadership and empower marketers to control their visibility in a new era with Semrush One.”
However, it remains unclear whether Semrush One's benefits will extend to external clients whose content competes with stronger brands or performs in other search contexts.
The evolving nature of AI-powered search ranking also means that today's visibility metrics may not remain stable tomorrow.
