How to find and use Rusted Tools in ARC Raiders – Destructoid

ARK Raiders There are plenty of items you can loot, and Rusted Tools can easily fly under the radar if you don't know where to look.

The main use of Rusted Tools is to unlock the Gunsmith 2 upgrade for your Workshop, but they have other uses in the game. This guide will help you find the item and identify strategies for effective farming.

At the time of writing, I have yet to find a place that is an effective farming location for Rusted Tool. However, you can find them on every map in ARK Raiders from mechanical mining pools. If you're not aware, each map has one of four themes and it will appear in your HUD. You need to be in the area marked Mechanical.

I have marked the locations on the Blue Gate map in the screenshot above. More precisely, you need to look for buildings and areas marked with the icon Mechanical label.

Once you are in the right place, start opening containers that you see around. Obtaining Rust Puddles is ultimately a matter of luck, and their spawn rate is lower (since they are a rare loot). You should also be careful if you are playing alone, as opening containers will make noise and may attract the enemy's attention.

The main use of Rusted Tools is to get Gunsmith Update 2 from your Workshop. Here's a complete list of items you'll need to upgrade.

You can also sell Rusty Tools for 1000 coins each. You can also recycle or recycle rusty tools to get the following items.

• 8 metal parts and 1 steel spring (recycled)
• 7 metal parts (from scrap)

Note that rusty tools are usually a heavy item, so you'll need to pay attention to their weight if your inventory is going to reach its maximum capacity.
