Today, VRWOOD officially launched Little Planet in Meta Quest, a cozy life simulator that invites players to create their own peaceful corner of the universe. After almost two years of early access, the game is now opening its doors to everyone for free. You can watch the official launch trailer below.
In Little Planet, players start with a small world and gradually transform it into a home that reflects their personality and creativity. By gathering resources, crafting furniture, and altering the landscape, they can create vibrant gardens, tranquil ponds, and hidden havens teeming with life. Friendly creatures known as Planet Pals run shops, offer quests, and bring the world to life. And multiplayer features allow players to collaborate, decorate, and explore together.
Frank Huang, founder of VRWOOD and creative director of Little Planet, said: “Little Planet is more than just a game, it's a place you come home to, and we've had so many wonderful people come to live with us over the last two years.” he added: “Our game has been and will continue to be shaped by the players in our community.”
The full version introduces several new features designed to deepen your sense of joy and community. Players can now adopt a customizable pet called Joyling, each with their own characteristics and preferences. The new Starnexus Social Hub offers a vibrant place to meet others and play three new mini-games. Additionally, competitive activities such as scavenger hunts, maze explorations, and fishing tournaments add playful ways to socialize and relax.
With the launch of Little Planet, we invite everyone to find joy in the little things, create, explore and create a home. The game is now available for free on Meta Quest with optional in-app purchases.
