Launch celebration Death Stranding 2: On the BeachBackbone announces the release of the official Backbone One – Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition controller, officially licensed by PlayStation.
Backbone worked with Kojima Productions to translate the game's themes into the controller, such as colors, typography, and iconography. Additionally, the controller features an aluminum D-pad and buttons inspired by the design of the Backbone One PlayStation Edition.
Each controller comes in a durable hard case designed exclusively for these limited edition controllers. Inside the controller case is a quick start guide and a collector's tag.
The device works with both Android and iOS, allowing you to use applications such as PS Remote Play, Steam Link and Apple Arcade. In a pinch, you can also use Backbone controllers with a PC via a wired connection.
The Limited Edition of Backbone One – Death Stranding will release on November 5th and will be available on Backbone website and Best Buy. The controller costs $159 US, which is approximately $222 Canadian. There will be only 1350 units.
