Star Wars fans have launched a massive campaign to save a planned film from the saga that Disney recently canceled.

Last week, actor Adam Driver made headlines when he revealed that he had been working on the script for a Star Wars sequel for two years, which was to be directed by director Steven Soderbergh.

This refusal on the part of Disney displeased several fans of the saga, who decided to go to extreme measures to ensure that their dissatisfaction was heard.
Last Thursday on the site Collider reported that a plane flew over Disney's California studio with the caption: “Save #TheHuntForBenSolo.”
Two days later, the same media outlet reported that a billboard had been purchased in Times Square. It had the following message written on it: “For Adam. No one ever really left. Hope is alive. We are alive!” (“For Adam. No one really disappears. Hope remains. Ben is alive!”
Photos of the two initiatives have circulated widely on social media in recent days.
This isn't the first time the Star Wars fan community has called for change from Disney. In 2017, a petition was launched to remake the film. The Last Jedi which divided fans of the saga.
