Bon Jovi is hitting the road. Band announces first tour since Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery

NEW YORK — NEW YORK (AP) — Decades later, the unthinkable has happened in his career. It was 2022 and Jon Bon Jovi started struggling with my songs. He went to the doctor, who said one of the following: his vocal cords had atrophied. He needed major surgery.

Bon Jovi underwent the procedure and has undergone extensive rehabilitation over the years, leading up to his current moment: Next summer, his band Bon Jovi will embark on its first tour in four years.

The “Forever Tour” will kick off with four nights at New York's Madison Square Garden before the band heads to Edinburgh, Scotland; Dublin and London.

“There is a lot of joy in this announcement—joy that we get to share these nights with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” Bon Jovi said in a statement. “I've talked a lot about my gratitude, but I'll say it again: I'm deeply grateful to the fans and brotherhood of this band for being patient and giving me the time I needed to heal and prepare for the tour. I'm ready and excited!”

Bon Jovi's last concert took place on April 30, 2022, in Nashville – as seen in the 2024 Hulu documentary Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.

Artist pre-sales begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET. General sales will begin on October 31st, also at 10am ET, via bonjovi.com.
