EB Games holding Pokémon pop-up

EB Games is opening a temporary location at Toronto's Eaton Center and will focus on Pokémon-themed content from November 1st to 15th.

In an email, the company called the store “The Collector's Vault,” and it's part of a larger effort to create more pop-ups dedicated to core fandoms. The place “celebrates the creatures, maps and culture that have sparked a global obsession.” [with Pokémon]”

MobileSyrup asked if there would be a similar pop-up store in other parts of the country after this. We will update this story when we hear back.

The store also has the following:

  • The Legendary Wall is an exhibition of ultra-rare collectibles worthy of legend.
  • Exclusive merchandise and collector's essentials available for a limited time.
  • The Epic Pull Machine – $5,000 worth of cards, including $1,000 worth of rares.
  • The Live Pack Break Zone is a place where you can copy, record and broadcast your results for all to see.
  • Live Pokemon characters and cosplayers for exciting photo shoots.
  • The Claw Machine is the best plush grip.

For those in Toronto who want to visit this store, it is located on the second floor of the shopping center near the Queen Street entrance.
