Playnest's Idle City Builder won the Pocket Gamer Helsinki competition last month! City Builder wowed the judges with its brilliance and the extensive list of features that Playnest has brought to this hyper-casual game. Not only was the presentation itself extremely powerful, but it is also something interesting and engaging in its own right.
The concept of Idle City Builder is simple; This is a city building simulator with beautiful graphics in which you need to build, manage resources, expand your territory and create a prosperous empire. Your city will start out small and will slowly grow as you explore and add new buildings (or upgrades) to what you create. Eventually, you can take over most of the land, eager to explore and discover more to continue building your empire.
It all looks very polished, so it's no surprise that it was released. You can already dive into the game and start using some of the country's national resources and build the city the way you like. There are several different themes you can use to create your own villager skins and worlds, which our judges were very impressed with.
