When you think of baseball in Montreal, and therefore the Montreal Expos, one of the first names that comes to mind is Roger Brulotte.
He is a Montreal baseball legend as an analyst, and his voice is recognizable in the city as the voice of Quebec baseball.
Unfortunately, Roger Brulotte is not getting any younger, and lately his constant back pain has gotten worse.
Complaining of back pain, a 78-year-old man went to the hospital, where he was finally diagnosed with back cancer, more precisely cancer of the sixth spinal vertebra.
Brulotte is currently battling cancer and has undergone surgery and returned home.
A speedy recovery to the great Roger who has escaped the worst.https://t.co/UuiNNKSDiD

That's what he says Mark De Foy for TVA Sports.
We obviously wish him the best recovery as he clearly avoided the worst by being diagnosed early on.
Despite all the bad news and the ups and downs of the past few weeks and months, Roger Brulotte was unfortunately unable to enjoy his favorite time of year: the end of the MLB season and the playoffs.
Luckily, now that he's back home, he can hopefully see the Blue Jays qualify for the World Series and see their great performance yesterday in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Toronto Blue Jays won 11–4 and are now just three wins away from winning the World Series.
In short, we wish Roger Brulotte a speedy recovery and for his sake, we hope the Blue Jays win the World Series.
