It's time to address Canada's health care crisis.

Anyone who has had to undergo surgery, make an appointment with a specialist, or visit the emergency room knows firsthand that Canada's healthcare system is struggling. There is a shortage of specialists, doctors and nurses, which puts additional strain on those who serve.

Currently, approximately 6.5 million Canadians do not have a family doctor. Because of this, many end up going to emergency rooms, where wait times are often in the double digits. Until now, the Mark Carney government or the Justin Trudeau government had made no attempt to seriously address this growing national health crisis.

Both doctors and nurses here burn out due to long and stressful work hours due to lack of resources. If this situation is not resolved immediately, Canada will find itself in the same dire situation that England found itself in a few years ago.

Manager John Schneider's unbridled enthusiasm immediately after his Blue Jays became ALCS champions culminated in a spew of crude, inappropriate and classless F-bombs.

He was a complete disgrace. First, he swore in front of a celebrating, sold-out Rogers Center filled with 44,770 high-paying patrons, including children, when Hazel May asked him about his reaction to the win. Then, secondly, in a noisy locker room in front of the same television audience.

How bad and disrespectful this reflects on the entire organization.
