Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em: Bo Nix is ‘start of the week’, plus sleepers at every position

Six teams have a bye in Week 8 and there are several injuries to keep an eye on, making this one of the toughest periods for scoring of the season. Are you ready?

We lost several stars: Arizona, Detroit, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Seattle and the Rams bye. And we have a slew of injuries, including Lamar Jackson (hamstring), Jayden Daniels (hamstring), Michael Penix Jr. (knee), Bucky Irving (foot), AJ Brown and Chris Godwin (leg) all out for the game.

There could be some interesting lineups in Week 8, and we're excited to have guys like Joe Flacco, Tyler Allgaier, Tez Johnson, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims, among others, on the roster because of their matchups. It will be a lot of fun if you choose the right sleeping place this week.

Obviously, we would prefer to have the best players in our squads. But that won't be possible this week, so we'll do our best to accommodate. I know you're ready. So let's get started.

Colts (vs. TEN)

The Titans rank first in Fantasy points allowed to opponents' DST, and the Colts DST already had a big game against Tennessee in Week 3 with a touchdown, four sacks, an interception and just 20 points allowed. I have the Colts DST ranked #1 in my Week 8 rankings and this game should be dominant again in the rematch with the Titans.

Falcons (vs. MVD)
Buccaneers (none)
Bengals (vs. New York)

Steelers (vs UK)

The Steelers' defense played well heading into Week 7 against the Bengals, when Cincinnati had no turnovers, allowed just two sacks and allowed 33 points. Pittsburgh could be back at home this week against the Packers, who have allowed just three sacks over the last three games and just two turnovers in that span. At the same time, Green Bay scored at least 27 points in three games in a row. I'd have the Steelers summer in Week 8 in most leagues.
