Sophie Cunningham often speaks her mind. Indiana fever The security guard took notice of fellow WNBA player Angel Reese's runway debut at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show.
Cunningham said Reese's historic move prompted her to consider taking to the runway with her own stand.
During a recent episode of her Show Me Something podcast, Cunningham praised Reese and revealed that she has been texting her agents about potentially being part of the hit 2026 fashion show.

“This has been my dream since I was in second grade.” said Cunningham. “I always wanted to be a Victoria's Secret Angel.”
Victoria's Secret invited Reese to take part in the clothing and cosmetics retailer's fashion show in New York, where she will become the first athlete to walk the runway in the event's history.

Having attended last year's exhibition as a guest, Reese said she will now be one of the brand's global ambassadors.

“I literally couldn’t stop smiling.” Reese told people. “It's such a surreal and self-contained moment – just last year I was in the audience showing my presence on this runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking the runway, and now I'll be back as an Angel. It will be an unforgettable night for which I will be forever grateful.”
Reese added that she wants to encourage women to excel in all areas.

“I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field, but also pursue our goals outside of it—and for me, that means walking down the most iconic runway in fashion and entertainment,” two-time WNBA All-Star Game added.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned last year after a six-year hiatus.
