Stephen Miller fires back after Robert De Niro calls him a ‘Nazi’

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller criticized Robert De Niro on Wednesday, calling him a “sad, bitter, broken old man” after the “Goodfellas” actor branded him a “Nazi” over the weekend.

“He hasn't made a movie worth watching in at least 30 years. This is probably the longest string of failures. Failures, difficulties,” Miller. said on “Hannity.”

“This man has humiliated himself in front of the camera, making one terrible movie after another, throughout my entire adult life, and no one takes him seriously, not his family, not his friends, not his community.”

“He's just a shell of a man and everyone ignores everything he says.”

De Niro's statement came during Sunday performance on MSNBC's “The Weekend,” where he included Miller in broader criticism of the Trump administration and said President Donald Trump would seek a third term in the White House.

“He won't want to leave. He orchestrated this… I think he's the Goebbels of the Cabinet, Stephen Miller. He’s a Nazi,” said a longtime Trump critic, comparing Miller to Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Party’s chief propagandist.

“And he’s a Jew, so he should be ashamed.”

De Niro's rhetoric echoes sentiments on the left, which continue to label MAGA voters and politicians as “Nazis” or “fascists.”

Critics have sounded the alarm because of such rhetoric following the murder last month of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk.
