Jake Pauladmittedly nervous about the upcoming tilt with Gervonta Davisbut he tells TMZ Sport he has some sort of secret weapon in his corner to help him make sure he's ready… Shakur Stevenson!
The YouTuber-turned-superstar-fighter told us on Wednesday that Stevenson, who has had his share of beefs with Davis over the years, plans to meet him in just a few days to provide him with assistance in the ring.
Paul said they will spar and he hopes that will prepare him as much as possible for the Tank.
Paul also told us that he has several other famous boxers… Raymond Ford And Montana Love – is also preparing his fists for a large-scale battle on November 14.
Jake, however, admitted that he's still awake about the upcoming fight… admitting, “Internally, I'm more scared than I've ever been to fight.”
“Being vulnerable for even a second,” Paul said, “is crazy. It's scary. It kind of keeps me up at night.”
Paul said he has a game plan that involves him trying to lose muscle mass to be fast enough for the smaller Davis. He also said he was working on how to “knock out Tank like I've done with other opponents.”
All rubbish will be sent to the Kesaia center and Paul was adamant: “I'm going to prove a lot of people wrong.”
