I've been surviving for many years now Hurry members Geddy Lee And Alex Lifeson in an interview they were asked if they ever planned to tour behind the drummer again Neil Peartwill die in 2020. In 2023, Lee reported that he open to it – And tried to convince Lifeson to get to the same page.
Well, it looks like they've pulled it off: Along with drummer Anika Nills (who previously played with Jeff Beck), Lifeson and Lee will hit the road in 2026 to celebrate Rush's 50th anniversary with a North American tribute tour to Peart. The tour is scheduled to include a pair of Canadian dates in Toronto next summer.
UPDATE (Oct. 22, 12:28 p.m. ET): Rush has now added second nights in a number of cities, including a date in Montreal on Sept. 4, Edmonton on Dec. 12, and Vancouver on Dec. 17. New announcements are highlighted in bold in the updated itinerary below.
UPDATE (Oct. 20, 10:20 a.m. ET): Rush continues to expand its 2026 tour with additional dates in the U.S. and Canada, including new dates in Montreal, Edmonton and Vancouver. Tickets will go on sale October 31st following various pre-sales beginning October 23rd. See the updated schedule below.
UPDATE (10/8 12:08 ET): By popular demand (who would have guessed!), Rush has added additional dates in five cities on the tour, including additional dates in Toronto on August 11th and 13th. See the full updated itinerary below, with recently announced shows in bold.
“After everything that has happened since that last show, Alex and I did some serious soul-searching and decided that we really fucking miss it,” Lee shared in a press release. He continued:
As we all know, Neil was irreplaceable. However, life is full of surprises and we were introduced to another wonderful person; an incredible drummer and musician who adds another chapter to our story while continuing her exciting musical journey. Her name is Anika Nills and we are thrilled to introduce her to our loyal and dedicated Rush fans who we know will give her every chance to live up to this nearly impossible role.
The tour kicks off June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California, where they played their last show with Peart in August 2015. After performances in Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago and New York, Rush will come home to Toronto for two nights at Scotiabank Arena August 7 and 9, and then ended the trip on September 17 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tickets goes on sale to the general public on October 17th, with various pre-sales beginning on October 13th (register Here for access). You can find the full itinerary below, as well as information about upcoming Canadian shows on the website Concert center.
