Microsoft announced a second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions this month (and early November). Headlining are a couple of notable sequels: The Outer Worlds 2 and PowerWash Simulator 2. They are joined by six other games, as well as two games now included in Game Pass Premium.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available on October 23 via subscription. One of the nicest new features of the game is the inclusion of cooperative progression in online co-op. Meanwhile, The Outer Worlds 2 releases next week on Game Pass Ultimate and PC tiers. Obsidian's next RPG could see companions actually attack playersif they go against their interests. However, it is noted that these characters will give plenty of warnings that they have had enough.
These aren't the only games launching on Day 1 of Game Pass. The others are Bounty Star, Super Fantasy Kingdom, Football Manager 26 and Football Manager 26 Console. Rounding out the list of new games coming to Game Pass are Halls of Torment and 1000xResist. Additionally, Commandos: Origins and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are now included in the Game Pass Premium catalog.
Earlier this month, Microsoft not only raised the price of Game Pass Ultimate from $20 per month to $30, but the company also changed the tier names. Game Pass Core is now Essential, and Standard is now Premium. There were no price increases at these two levels.
