From Shameless for his award-winning role in BearJeremy Allen White is one of the biggest actors working today. And now he takes on perhaps one of his most challenging roles yet, embodying the legendary Bruce Springsteen in Springsteen: Deliver Me Out of Nowhere.
The upcoming biopic follows Springsteen (White) as he conceives and records his 1982 album. Nebraskawhich marked a noticeable departure from the rock and roll sound he had been known for up to that point. The film explores what was going on in Bruce's life at the time and also looks back at his upbringing in New Jersey.
So, to celebrate his upcoming film, we asked Jeremy to sit down and try to answer 30 questions about his work, life, and everything in between as quickly as possible.
To start, he revealed that “Reason to Believe” was his favorite Springsteen song performed in the film, as well as his favorite song on the album. Nebraska, which is “My Father's House.”
We remembered the time he played Lip Gallagher in Shamelesswhen he revealed that he took the Gallaghers' bat, which had always been at the bottom of the stairs for 11 seasons.
And Jeremy said that yes, Bear The actor has a group chat, and yes, he has a name.
