Saturday Night Live returned in October after his milestone 50thth season, which took place in 2024.

Writer Celeste Yim, who spent five years on the show in the writers' room, said news of their departure at the end of August. Devon Walker was first cast to come out before Season 51, later saying it was mutual decision. Emil Vakin followed Walker in August.
