Welcome to the space war economy Idle
Chasm Studios is pleased to announce that Space War Economic Idle is now available on Steam. The game was released on October 15th and is currently available for $4.49 with a 10% discount. You can also try out the demo version before committing to the full version.
Space War Economic Idle is a turn-based strategy game that combines economic management with space combat, offering a balance between casual idle gameplay and more complex active decision-making. Players take command of a mining outpost, extract valuable resources, build ships, and fight their way back to Earth. The game has two main components, each of which offers a rich and engaging experience.
The economic management side dominates two-thirds of the gameplay, with a strong focus on customizing and optimizing automated processes. Players set up mining, smelting, crafting and logistics operations and then synchronize them for maximum efficiency. Resources accumulate even when the game is idle, and upgrades and resets provide long-term rewards. A dedicated mini-game adds a layer of strategy, rewarding players for consistent control and offering global multipliers. Item crafting is highly customizable, with items receiving random modifiers based on the materials used, allowing players to tailor their outpost's output.
The remaining third of the gameplay is auto combat with permadeath. Players assemble fleets from crafted components, each with RPG-style stats, and send them into automated battles across 300 levels of space warfare. Victory unlocks new items, mechanics, and story content, gradually revealing the secrets of humanity's past and the events that led to its current predicament.
Combining smart controls, strategic optimization and fast-paced auto-combat, Space War Economic Idle offers an experience that is both relaxing and highly rewarding, attracting players who enjoy building, experimenting and conquering space.
