As I wrote earlier Saturday, Vice President J.D. Vance was on hand to speak to an enthusiastic crowd of Marines at the U.S. Marine Corps 250th Anniversary event at Camp Pendleton in California.
But he managed to find time before arriving at the base to offer his thoughts on the latest revelations regarding Zohran Mamdani, the man Democrats are advocating to become New York's next mayor.
In case you missed the latest news, here's Bonci to fill us in on what Mamdani seems to have in recent days given up any pretense of being anything other than a fan of radical Islamist thought:

Who is Imam Siraj Wahhaj? This is a difficult question not because his past is morally opaque, but because his history of direct support for Islamic terrorism is so extensive.
1) He was an unindicted accomplice in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
2) He called for the creation of an Islamic state in America, urging Muslim immigrants to “establish the religion of Allah.”
3) He called for an end to democracy in favor of Islamic law.
4) He testified in defense Omar Abdel-Rahman aka “The Blind Sheikh”
5) He repeatedly called on Muslims to use political power in America in the service of Islam.
6) He has three children who are charged with terrorism.

The announcement came via a Democrat's social media post Friday after the campaign dragged on for months with few major national Democrats willing to back Mamdani. And when the media is confronted with pressing questions about Mamdani's outright refusal to condemn Hamas and radical Muslims, the result is often nothing more than sweet word salad, like Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin's. released in July.
In any case, in a Saturday post on his X account, the vice president showed that he was unwilling to allow Democrats to back down for hypocrisy regarding political violence, calling on them to be consistent on this issue when it comes to Mamdani:
I've been reliably informed that Democrats oppose any kind of political violence, so I look forward to them universally condemning Zohran Mamdani for campaigning alongside an innocent co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that killed six New Yorkers. pic.twitter.com/opk2er6BnB

Vance wrote: “I have been reliably informed that Democrats oppose any kind of political violence, so I look forward to them universally condemning Zohran Mamdani for campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that killed six New Yorkers.”
In response to the tweet, he shared a NY Post article about the radical imam and its revealing image of him campaigning with Mamdani. The headline clearly states: “New York Post: Mamdani appears smiling, hand in hand with unindicted 1993 World Trade Center bombing accomplice and terrorist apologist.”
Vance is wrong here. Democrats absolutely do not want to solve this problem, and there is only one reason. They can't put an end to the issue of political violence because it exposes what they and we know about the far left of the Democratic Party. This is the main source of the recent political violence that everyone has observed. Unfortunately for them, it was this sector of their base that they used as a strategy to ensure their future survival as a party. This isn't exactly a conservative problem to worry about.
