If you've been around TikTok lately, you've probably seen an increase in posts of people posing with celebrities in elevators, e.g. This one. It's a fake, of course—the product of artificial intelligence image-generating tools—but it's a fun kind of fake that's very easy to become a part of.
There are many free AI tools that you can use to create any photo or video, but if you want your celebrity elevator meeting post to be in line with the current trend, the easiest way is to use CapCut.

How to Take a Celebrity Selfie in an Elevator with a Gemini
Using Google's Gemini AI is another easy way to capture elevator images. Here's how to do it:
-
Go to Gemini home page.
-
Drag a photo of yourself and one of your favorite celebrities into the window. (Mine is William Howard Taft.)
-
Add a hint. Here's what I used, so feel free to cut and paste if you like my results below: “Take these two photos and create a realistic photo-like image of these people standing in the elevator. The camera is positioned at the top corner of the elevator, with a slight distortion of the fisheye lens pointed at them. The elevator walls are metal, with soft overhead light reflecting off the surfaces. Both people look slightly upward towards the camera, capturing a cinematic and dramatic shot. tone”.

Gemini will give you a picture. Here's mine:
How to take a selfie video of a celebrity in an elevator
If you need an animated video, you can put an already taken AI photo into the animation program. I used Grok for me because it's free and does the job perfectly.
-
Add a hint. It doesn't have to be complicated – I had something like: “Two men greet each other and fall in love.”

Upload your video and post it on TikTok with relevant hashtags and you will end up with something like this.
