A year after Magnus Humphrey was arrested and charged with her murderProsecutors shared details of the alleged relationship he had with a model who was found bound and gagged in a refrigerator during a routine welfare check in Los Angeles in 2023.
During an Oct. 16 court hearing, the prosecution said Humphrey, 43, and Mooney, 31, engaged in a five-day affair in the days before the murders. her deathaccording to Los Angeles Timeswho had a reporter in his room. The couple allegedly met through his ex-brother in September 2023.
One of Mooney's friends Kirsten Dossettsaid Humphrey became “obsessed” with her pal and the pair were rarely “more than a foot apart” during their week-long relationship, according to the outlet.
In addition, Dossett claimed that Humphrey was at a family barbecue with Mooney at the time and called her “my girl” and “my woman.” Los Angeles Times reported.
And although lawyer Humphrey Michael Lambrose admitted that he was in a relationship with Mooney at the time of her death, he denied that his client was involved in her murder.
