If you know where to look, you can often get discounts on Apple's ever-expanding line of AirPods. Both are newer AirPods Max And AirPods 4 (with and without ANC) now constantly receive discounts, just like AirPods Pro 2nd generation with USB-C. Events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday often bring the biggest discounts, although you can still find great deals throughout the year.
Below, we've rounded up the best deals currently available on each model, including both versions of AirPods 4, second- and third-generation AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max.
Late last year, Apple introduced AirPods 4, a pair of wireless headphones available in two options: a standard model for $129 and a noise-canceling model for $179. Both versions represent significant upgrades over the third-generation AirPods, with a more comfortable design and improved sound quality. They're also better for taking calls, thanks to Apple's Voice Isolation feature, which focuses the microphones on your voice so you can be heard more clearly in noisy environments.
The $179 AirPods 4 with Active Noise Canceling offer a surprisingly effective noise-canceling mode, a useful transparency mode, and several other pro-grade features. The latest AirPods Pro do a better job at canceling noise, but the AirPods 4 with ANC still do a good job at noise cancellation. They also come with other benefits previously only available on Apple's top headphones, including wireless charging and a case with a built-in speaker that makes it easy to track using Apple's Find My app.
Considering they've been out for almost a year now, we're constantly seeing discounts on both versions of the AirPods 4. Right now, for example, the standard AirPods 4 are on sale at Amazon, WalmartAnd Staples for $117 ($12 off), which is $28 off their all-time low. Meanwhile, AirPods 4 with ANC are currently available at Amazon And Walmart for $118.99 ($60 off), matching the latest Prime Day low.
Best AirPods Pro 3 deals
On your own recent event “Awe Dropping”Apple introduced AirPods Pro 3. In addition to improved noise cancellation and sound, the third-generation headphones feature a built-in heart rate sensor that syncs with the iPhone fitness app and allows you to track your heart rate and calories burned across more than 50 types of workouts. They're also more comfortable and secure than their predecessors, thanks to an updated angled fit and five ear tip sizes, including a new XXS option. They also have a more robust IP57 rating and support Apple's new live translation feature, which our testing found generally gets the point across well, but still can't beat a human translator.
Considering how recently they were released, we've yet to come across a major deal on the AirPods Pro 3, other than a small $10 launch discount. However, you can still pick them up at Amazon, Best buyAnd Walmart at full retail price of approximately $249.
Best AirPods Pro (2nd generation) deals
If you're looking to save money, the second-generation AirPods Pro with USB-C remain a solid option and are still widely available despite no longer being part of Apple's official lineup. While they lack the heart rate sensor found in the new AirPods Pro 3, as well as the live translation feature and smaller XXS ear tips, they still offer amazing noise cancellation and sound quality. They also include swipe controls, a USB-C charging case, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. They even support lossless audio when used with Apple Vision Pro headset And can be used as a pair of FDA approved hearing aids..
Unlike Apple's newest headphones, the second-generation Pros are available at Amazon, WalmartAnd Best buy for about $197 ($50 off), which is a long way from the all-time low of $149, but still $50 cheaper than the AirPods Pro 3.
Best AirPods Max deals
AirPods Max are not the iconic in-ear headphones that have become synonymous with the AirPods name. They're large and luxurious, made from aluminum, steel, and mesh fabric that keeps you comfortable during long listening sessions. They also have excellent noise cancellation, Apple's spatial audio feature, and spacious, balanced sound, even if they lag behind some of their peers when it comes to bass and performance. They don't best noise canceling headphones For most people, it's all about price, but it's hard to find a better pair of Bluetooth headphones if you're an iPhone user.
Towards the end of last year, Apple replaced the first-generation Max with new model which supports USB-C charging and several new color options. At the time of writing, they are sold at: Amazon And Walmart in select colors, the price starts at $449.97 (about $100 off), which isn't nearly as low as the $399 asking price we saw during Prime Day.
